PADI Divemaster


The PADI Divemaster Course is the first step to become a professional diver.


In the PADI Divemaster Course we will expand the theory knowledge. Water training and motivation will be evaluated and taken to a teaching level. The rescue skills will be checked and a underwater map have to be drawn. You will become a leader for dive planning and guiding and you will learn how to assist an instructor during education.

After completion of this course you can take part in the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) and become an instructor.

As a PADI Divemaster you are allowed to teach Skin Diver, Discover Snorkeling, Discover Scuba Diving and to contact the Scuba Review program.


Here you´ll find the standards:


Diver Prerequisites
• Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver

• 18 years old
• Logged 40 scuba dives
• Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months
• Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months


At time of certification, verify the candidate has logged at least 60 scuba dives including experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation.

Exercise 1: 400-Metre/Yard Swim

Exercise 2: 15-minute Tread

Exercise 3: 800-Metre/Yard Snorkelling

Exercise 4: 100-Metre/Yard Inert Diver Tow

Exercise 5 — Equipment Exchange
In confined water, demonstrate the ability to effectively respond to an unusual circumstance underwater by exchanging all scuba equipment (except exposure suits and
weights) with a buddy while sharing a single regulator second stage. 


Diver Rescue
Respond to an unresponsive, nonbreathing diver.

Dive Skills Workshop
Demonstrate all scuba and skin diving skills.

How long does the Divemaster Course take?

For all the theoretical and practical parts of the course you should calculate with at least 3 weeks if we have time. In the high season from December till April, it can take longer.


How much does it cost?

There is no fixprice for the course. It depends, how many dives you need to complete everything.


We charge 1.000.000 Peso for the course itself.

Additional, we charge the prices for the dives and the equipment from the pricelistYou should plan with at least 20 dives and it depends, how "good" you are. 

And you have to buy the all the materials for the course. The price depends on the dollar course. At the moment it around 800.000 Peso.

For cash payments and bank transfers to our german bank account, you also receive 10% discount.


And you have to pay the certification fee of around 100,- Dollar directly to PADI
